The American
Institute of Architects, San Francisco Chapter is inviting everyone to The New
Materiality: Beyond Surface in the Use of Material with American Craft Council
panel discussion happening on July 31, 2013 from 5:30 in the afternoon to 7:30
in the evening at 130 Sutter Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA.
The
American Craft Council will be leading the discussion of examining the
relationship between architecture and material in a conversation with
architects EB Min and Sarah Wilmer and ceramicist James Aarons. They will help
the participants to look beyond a surface or veneer understanding of material.
The
speakers include Min, Day Principal E.B. Min; Studio Sarah Willmer,
Architecture founder Sarah Wilmer; James Aarons; Monica Moses; and American
Craft Council Director Perry A. Price.
