SPUR
is inviting everyone to be a part of the Secondary Units Seminar happening on
Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 12:30 pm at the SPUR Urban Center located at 654
Mission Street, San Francisco.
Participants
will be learning about secondary or “in-law” units—self-contained dwellings on
the same lot as an existing residential building. These units distribute
less-expensive housing throughout a community, expand the housing supply across
a broader area and have minimal visual impact.
Admission
t the event is free for members and $10 for non-members. Participants are
encouraged to bring lunches.
This
event is part of SPUR’s mission of promoting good planning and good government
in the San Francisco Bay Area through research, education and advocacy. As a
member-supported nonprofit organization, they play the crucial role of uniting
citizens to jointly craft solutions to the biggest problems cities face.
