Take
a one of a kind gastronomic adventure as Ruggero Gadaldi hosts a seasonal
cooking demonstration on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 11:00 to 11:45 in the
morning at the CUESA Classroom located under the white tents in front of the
Ferry Building.
Classical
training at such first class establishments as the Hotel Pitrizza in Porto
Cervo, Italy, and the Palace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland, cultivated Gadaldi’s
flair for elegance and imagination in his food preparations. However, it was
his desire to expand his culinary techniques and repertoire that prompted
Gadaldi to move the United States. It was at San Francisco’s Etrusca Restaurant
where Gadaldi generated attention among the public and press for his modern-day
translations of classic Etruscan cuisine.
This
event is free and open to the public. Everyone will not only get the chance to
get the chef’s recipes but will also sample the fare that he will be preparing.
