2013 Summer Gardening Fair

The San Francisco Botanical Garden is proud to present the “Summer Gardening Fair” happening on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon. This annual event brings together plant enthusiasts, over 30 exhibitors and retailers, as well as non-profit organizations for a day dedicated to sharing ideas, plants, and other plant-related items.

Guests will be able to purchase special plants and growing materials as well as horticulture books that will spice up their know-how on gardening and taking care of flora.

Guests will also get to marvel at the beautiful butterflies up close, see the inside of a beehive, and see wonderful summer fuchsias and begonias.

Aside from the wonderful flora that will line the venue, kids are also welcome to participate in arts and crafts activities and a story time.

The entrance will be at the Main Gate of San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park, near 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way.
