Twin Peaks Volunteer Project

Sign up for the Twin Peaks Volunteer Project scheduled on November 23, 2013 from 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon at Twin Peaks Boulevard, San Francisco, California.

Those who will be signing up for this Project will be working hand-in-hand with the volunteers from the Hands on Bay Area. This is also a collaboration with the Natural Areas gardeners in order to restore the habitat of this spectacular park.

Organized by San Francisco Recreation and Parks, a variety of activities have been prepared in order to cater to every ability and interest level. Choose to get involved in either trash clean up, invasive species removal, or light trail maintenance.

Participants are requested to wear closed-toed shoes and to dress in layers as the temperature in the area is consistently chilly.

The meeting point will be at the overlooking parking lot located at the northern side of the park.

All tools and equipment needed are going to be provided by the organizers. Gloves, snacks, and water will also be available. Volunteers will be trained before the activities officially begin.

To register, email recparkvolunteer@sfgov.org.
