Mark the calendars for the
Urban and Backyard Composting Workshop which is scheduled on Thursday, March
20, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 in the evening at Conference Room No. 1 of the
Veterans Memorial Recreation Center located at 251 City Park Way, San Bruno,
California.
Invited to instruct and impart
valuable knowledge is Danielle Brewer, the San Bruno Recology Staff Supervisor.
Learn about everything that needs to be known on how to make rich, dark compost
which can be used in gardens, yards, and even potted plants.
This fun and informative
hands-on workshop will focus on how to do backyard and worm composting for
homes and apartments. The know-how gained from this event can even be passed on
to others, even to children.
Interested participants are
requested to pre-register in order for the organizers to effectively prepare
the necessary materials.
Standard and online
registrations for this event will be available on December 2, 2013 beginning at
8:00 in the morning.
