Slow by Design Discussed Fashion



 Be a part of the Slow by Design: Fashion Weekend Workshop on February 7-9, 2014 at the Headlands Center for the Arts located at 944 Fort Barry, Sausalito, California.

Participants will learn how to find and use dye plants native to the Marin Headlands with the help of Sasha Duerr of Permacouture, participate on a guided discussion on the use of fast technology to support slow fashion headed by Kelly Lynn Jones of Little Paper Planes, and join an off-site studio visit care of Matt Dick of Matocreative and Small Trade Company.

Live-in registration (inclusive of tuition, accommodations, and meals) is at $380 for Headlands Center Members and $450 for General Admission while Live-out (inclusive of tuition and meals) is at $235 and $275 respectively. Participants who opt for the live-in option will stay in a converted communal house near the ocean.
