Drab to Fab with Paint Colors

First impressions are important and making sure the exterior of your home is up to date is essential. Paint color, whether it be inside or out, can make or break a design. Knowing how to use the right combination and hue is key in creating a balanced and impactful appearance. 29 Saint Germain in San Francisco is a clear example of how giving your home a fresh new coat of paint is an easy update to make a stunning first impression.

Before 29 Saint Germain went through an exterior transformation it showed no distinction of its own. The beautiful geometric shapes throughout the structure got lost in the blending of white and pale yellow paints. With a much needed update, Saint Germain took a turn for the best. A dark gray exterior compliments the structure by adding depth and warmth. White accents contrast with clean lines that frame the homes rectangular windows. Making for a dramatic focal point the red door stands boldly on it's own. The entrance is broken up into detail, even the lines in the staircase are defined! In addition, the updated garage door adds to the homes aesthetic by mimicking rectangular shapes. 29 Saint Germain is no longer just another house on the block but a geometric piece of art. This charming gem gets a makeover win in our book!
