gastronomic delights at the FoodWise Farmers Market Tour & Tasting event
happening on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 12:30 pm at The
Embarcadero and Ferry Plaza in San Francisco, CA.
CUESA’s
market chef, Elianna Friedman will be showing the audience how to handle the
season’s best offerings at home. A different market seller will be featured at
each tour and samples of a dish and recipe will be handed out to viewers. This
event is perfect for novice cooks as well as seasoned foodies.
FoodWise
is free and open to all.
This
event is presented by the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable
Agriculture (CUESA), a nonprofit corporation organized in 1994 to educate urban
consumers about sustainable agriculture and to create links between urban
dwellers and local farmers.
